In the qualifying weather lottery for the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps neither driver got any further than Q1. Kamui Kobayashi qualified 19th after he had gone into a gravel trap while on slicks. Pedro de la Rosa, also on dry tyres, ended up 22nd after crashing into a barrier.

After the summer break Formula One returns to the longest circuit on the Grand Prix calendar: One lap stretches over seven kilometers on the challenging uphill and downhill track of Spa-Francorchamps, where the Belgian Grand Prix on 29th of August will be the 13th of 19 World Championship Rounds in 2010. Peter Saubers team wants to continue its positive trend.

Peter Sauber sounded very optimistic of solving the team's sponsorship issues but nothing has been settled yet.
"There is a good possibility for new partners and we are working very hard on that.
"We're sure we will have more colour on the car next year. I don't know what basic colour - it depends on the sponsor."

Despite suffering no technical problems and both drivers finishing the race, the team didnt manage to score any more points at the German Grand Prix. Kamui Kobayashi finished 11th in Hockenheim, while Pedro de la Rosa came 14th.

Formula One has to earn its short summer break by having back-to-back-races: The pack travels from Hockenheim straight away to Budapest where the Hungarian Grand Prix will be taking place as early as next Sunday.
