In a dramatic turn of events, Michael Schumacher has been confirmed to replace Felipe Massa in the upcoming European Grand Prix in Valencia. Schumacher's return had been much rumoured about, but still severely doubted. Though there are now no doubts the 7-Time World Champion will race for Ferrari once again and perhaps for the remainder of the season.

There is doubt regarding Michael Schumacher's return to racing at the upcoming European Grand Prix. A combination of his being forbidden to test the current F60 car and a lack of neck strength caused by a motorcycle accident, means Michael may not be prepared to race.

After being released from hospital in Hungary, Felipe Massa returned home to Brazil, to begin his rehabilitation. According to his doctors, the Brazilian is having a surprisingly quick recovery.

With the news of Michael Schumacher not being able to return to Formula 1 due to a neck injury, Ferrari has confirmed Luca Badoer as the replacement for Felipe Massa in the Valencia Grand Prix. Badoer has been a test driver with Ferrari for over ten years and this will be his first ever race with the Scuderia.

After it became clear his neck was still too injured from a recent motorcycle accident, it has been confirmed Michael Schumacher will not replace Felipe Massa at Ferrari in the upcoming European Grand Prix. Schumacher attempted to regain strength in his neck, though the pain caused by the high G-forces in Formula 1 was simply too much for him to overcome.

Formula 1 reject Juan Pablo Montoya, has once again come out against Michael Schumacher and Ferrari. He believes Schumacher's return to Formula 1 will not see him perform as well as Raikkonen, unless Ferrari gives him an unfair advantage.

Kimi Raikkonen came from behind to take his fourth career victory at the Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on Sunday. Having started sixth, Raikkonen avoided a first lap pile up and slipped past his competitors. From then on, it was meant to be clear sailing, though Giancarlo Fisichella in the Force India, kept Kimi on his toes until the final lap.
