To celebrate the European launch of the new GLK this fall, Mercedes has announced today they'll be holding a special design competition centered around the SUV's groundbreaking styling. Titled 'The design:project', the rules are simple. Six universities located in six European design capitals have been asked to put together an interdisciplinary team, who then have until the end of July to create various objects in different design areas, such as furniture, everyday objects and technical equipment. The designs must all be in line with an overarching theme, and they can be submitted in any form, including sketches, graphics, animations and models. The condition is that all objects and creations must be presentable in a surface area measuring 10 x 15 meters.

A BB or pellet gun is used in attacks on parked vehicles along several blocks of San Gabriel Avenue and nearby streets. Windows of more than 50 cars in Azusa and surrounding areas were shot out with a BB or pellet gun in a series of attacks on parked vehicles early Friday morning, authorities said.

Well at about 175000 miles the clutch went out, that's a pain and expensive to replace about 1600$ if I remember... New Brakes at 177000 miles, also a complete tune up.

Last Mother's Day, 12 single moms from the Dallas area thought they were attending a health fair at the headquarters of Cowboys safety Roy Williams' foundation when two stretch Hummer limos pulled up and shuttled them to a posh mall. There they were greeted by Williams who handed out bouquets of flowers before they were treated to new outfits, shoes and makeovers.
