Porsche said Wednesday its U.S. sales rose 33 percent in August, driven by the addition of the company's new Panamera and strong sales of 2011 Cayenne models.

ATLANTA, Sept. 1, 2010; Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars, Cayenne SUVs and the Panamera Gran Turismo line-up in the United States, today announced August sales in the U.S. of 2,032 units compared to the same period last year when it sold 1,526, up 33 percent.
